First we should disable "beginner mode" if it is enabled. Go to EAC -> EAC Options -> Tools and uncheck the bottom-most box.

Now we're ready to configure each and every option in the program. Start by going back to the "Extraction" tab as shown. Just set all of the options as seen here, unless something is circled with an explanation that tells you otherwise.









Here you can tell it how to name the wave files that are created. (In our case it doesn't matter because we'll be creating one wave file for the entire CD.) But you can set this option if you plan on using EAC to copy individual songs in the future.





Here you can tell it where to put the files it creates. Since we're just creating a temporary wave file that will be used to burn a CD, it's convenient to stick it on the desktop.
