Verb

AUv3 algorithmic reverb with three engines and aggressive character controls for dense mixes.

Quick Start

  1. Open your Audio Unit host.
  2. Add Verb as an AUv3 effect on a track or bus.
  3. Pick ENGINE: Concrete, Gate Pit, or Bloom Rust.
  4. Set ROOM and DECAY, then blend with MIX and OUTPUT.
Note: Verb processes audio and is designed for inserted track or bus workflows.

Control Summary

ENGINE
Concrete (tight), Gate Pit (gated), Bloom Rust (reverse swells)
ROOM
Morphs through room variants for each engine
DECAY
Sets tail length from short to long
TONE
Dark to bright wet-path tonal balance
DRIVE / GRIT
Saturation and degradation for texture
CLAMP / STAGGER
Tempo-linked gating and rhythmic re-clamp pulses

Common Questions

  • Too muddy: Lower ROOM and trim PRE/POST low EQ.
  • Too bright: Lower TONE and trim POST high EQ.
  • Clamp feels weak: Increase CLAMP, then STAGGER for stronger movement.
  • No clear effect: Raise MIX, confirm DECAY is above minimum, and check OUTPUT.
