Quick Start

  1. Open your Audio Unit host.
  2. Add Pulseq as an AUv3 MIDI effect.
  3. Add a synth on another track.
  4. Route MIDI from Pulseq to the synth.
  5. Press play in the host transport.
Tip: If there is no sound, verify MIDI routing first.

Common Questions

  • No sound: Pulseq outputs MIDI only. Route it to a synth.
  • Notes feel out of key: Enable Snap Notes to Scale, or check the root and scale selection.
  • Stage repeats or skips: Check the stage's gate mode and programmable gate pattern.
  • Modulation not landing: Confirm the CC lane targets match your synth's parameter, and that the stage value is not set to Don't Send.
